This project helps us to understand and realize the way in which simulation facilitates
certain tasks that are frequently presented to us in Chemical Engineering, specifically liquid solid
separation processes. We will be able to see how the extractions of different compounds are
carried out with different methods, which are reflected in Excel documents and in the DWSIM
simulator.
